- Words of Congratulation -
ACTS has gone through a critical time in the last five years.
During these years the publication of ACTS Theological Journal was
unfortunately interrupted.
Now I give thanks to the Lord who has so miraculously restored ACTS with His mercy and grace. Through His great work for the school, the Lord has manifested the great value of the vision of ACTS to the whole Korean Church.
In the wake of the crisis, our school stands stronger than ever to take off once again in its renewed vision of mission for the evangelization of Asia and the whole world. I congratulate ACTS Theological Journal wholeheartedly for resuming publication, as well as applaud its role in the restoration of our school. Since teaching and research comprise an essential part of our university, I hope more publications will be produced in the future so that the benefits of our faculty’s research can be shared by many. I sincerely pray that our faculty members will yield many fruitful studies that build up ACTS
Theology, inspired by our founding ideal—”the salvation of souls”— so that ACTS will greatly contribute to the Korean Church, to World Missions and ultimately to the Kingdom of God. May Glory be to the Lord Almighty!

I give thanks and glory to the Lord for resuming the publication of ACTS Theological Journal and especially for the launch of Vol. 14.
Publication of this issue has particularly deep meaning, as it signifies the restoration of our school with its original vision and founding spirit.
ACTS is embarking on a new journey after a long period of trials. Despite the crisis, our faculty members have consistently pursued the original goal of ACTS with one heart and mind. They also did not abandon their basic responsibility of research. On behalf of the editorial board, I express our exceeding joy in issuing this volume of past research papers by our faculty members. I pray that this occasion may not just make up for the hiatus, but represent a fresh start for a fruitful future.
May we continue to publish many valuable research papers that serve the foundational goal of ACTS, namely the evangelization of Asia and the whole world by contributing to the Korean Church and World Missions, thus fulfilling God’s will for our institution.
