ACTS International Graduate School

AiGS would like to announce a new form of scholarship called 'AiGS Excellence Essay Award.' A grant, recently sponsored by Ms. Eun Ran Park (박은란) for 10 years (2017~27), is to be awarded annually from this year in the amount of 1 million won ($1000) to a ThM/PhD student whose essay sumbitted is selected as "Excellence Essay" under the purview of AiGS Committee and related faculty examiners. Details are as follows:

The 2017 Excellence Essay Award  

* Students Qualified: Any AiGS students engaged with ThM, ThM-PhD, PhD programs

* Topic for Essay: "The Significance and Task of the Protestant Church Today in Light of Reformation Legacy with Special Reference to the Non-Western Contexts"

* Award Scholarship: One million won (roughly $1000)
* Essay Length: A4 - 25 pages (dobule space) including footnotes and bibliography 
* Submission Method: One copy as printed form + one PDF file (to AiGS office)
* Submission Deadline: First Monday of October (Oct. 2nd, 2017)
* Award Date: One month later (about the last week of October) 

* Essay Writing Format: A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Thesis, and Dissertation: Chicago Style for Students and Researchers (Chicago: University of Chicago, 2013) - Reserved in ACTS Library or in AiGS Book Bank Room.
